I suffered through pain and uncertainty of ever walking again.
My diagnosis was osteonecrosis of my hips, and spondylolysis of lumbar vertebrae. I was placed in a wheel chair and placed on prescriptions of opioids.
I met Kirk Reynolds and began a regimen of physical training soon after I had a hip replacement.
His approach and techniques to my diagnosis began strengthening me both physically and mentally. I regained mobility and strength, as well as an understanding why physical movement is a form of therapy, and how important it is to reduce degeneration to bones affected and overall wellness.
I now ride my bike as means of transportation and I am returning to college confident and strong.
Thank you Kirk for helping me achieve real quality of life. Your knowledge and compassion helped in healing, and now i can pick up where i left off.
Sincerely,
Ray Valenzuela
--A side note from Kirk:
When Ray walked in, he was afraid to even pick up a broomstick because of how bad his hips had become. By the end of my time with him, he was able to deadlift (pick up from the ground) 255 lbs!
I am still impressed with Ray’s dedication and hard work on the basic stabilization exercises we did for months before touching a weight. His patience and hard work paid off!
